Marcos Conrado Jr., 36, and Joaquim “Mamute” Ferreira, 36, are among the Brazilian mixed martial artists on the “Brave 11” fight card. The two are facing each other in the light heavyweight division.
Brave Combat Federation will hold “Brave 11” at the Mineirao Stadium Terrace in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil on April 13, 2018. This is the third event of the Bahrain-based MMA promotion to take place in Brazil.
Hailing from Goiania, Goias, Brazil, Conrado is an undefeated fighter with 5 wins. He made his professional MMA debut on April 15, 2017 at “NP Fight Brazil 6” where he knocked out Fabricio Nunes via punches.
After a successful professional MMA debut, Conrado went on to enjoy a winning streak defeating his next opponents namely Raelcio Silva, Vinicius Lima, Sandeep Kumar Dahiya and Sumit Rangi. In Conrado’s most recent bout, he submitted Rangi via armbar at “SFL 2018: Winner Prevails- Gujarat Warriors vs Delhi Warriors.”
Both Conrado and Ferreira and making their Brave CF debut at “Brave 11.” The latter currently has 20 wins and 12 losses.
It has been more than one year since Ferreira last fought inside the cage. On February 23, 2017, the fighter from Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais lost to Kurban Omarov via technical knockout via retirement at “FNG: Fight Nights Global59.”
The most recent opponent Ferreira defeated was Weldon Leite Santos. The former defeated the latter at “BCMMA- Balloutta Combat MMA 2” on June 11, 2016.
Former Ultimate Fighting Championship prospect Lucas “Mineiro” Martins, 29, and 2016 Brazilian Fighter of the Year Luan “”Miau” Santiago, 23, will headline “Brave 11”. They will fight for the interim lightweight championship title.
