Ahmed Amir of Egypt will fight his fourth Brave Combat Federation bout at “Brave 11” in Brazil, which is his first fight outside the Middle East. The Egyptian mixed martial artist will take on Cleiton “Predador” Silva of Brazil in the lightweight division.
“Brave 11” will take place at the Mineirao Stadium Terrace in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil on April 13, 2018. This is the third event of the Bahrain-based MMA promotion to take place in Brazil.
When Amir made his professional MMA debut on October 17, 2013, he lost to Hamza Nafush via unanimous decision at “Desert Force 9: Dubai.” After this, Amir enjoyed a six-win winning streak defeating Hossein Mollamahdi, Amr Fathee Wahman, Youness Mikiss, Richie Martinez, Kevin Koldobsky and Erik Carlsson.
Amir has joined the Straight Blast Gym Ireland, becoming the first fighter from the Middle East to be trained under John Kavanagh. Currently, the Egyptian MMA fighter holds a professional record of 6 wins and 1 loss.
On the other hand, Silva has 12 wins and 2 losses. In his most recent bout, which took place on September 30, 2017 at Jungle Fight 92,” he lost to Erick Barbosa via split decision.
The last time Silva won in the cage was on April 8, 2017. He knocked out Lucas Eurico via punches at “BH Sparta 11.”
On March 28, 2017, the first Brave CF event to take place in Brazil titled “Brave 3: Battle in Brazil” took place at the Max Rosenmann Arena in São José dos Pinhais, Curitiba. The second one was “Brave 8: The Rise of Champions,” which took place at the Almir Nelson de Almeida (Taruma) Gymnasium in Curitaba.
