Fans of Marshall Bruce “Eminem” Mathers III have been yearning to see him star in a new film after the award-winning 2002 hip hop drama “8 Mile.” They will have a foretaste of the Detroit rapper’s acting as he plays a man framed as a serial killer in the music video of “Framed.”
On March 29, 2018, Eminem took to Instagram to share a clip from the music video of “Framed.” The clip starts with him surrounded by blood and body parts while he is sitting in a lounge room.
The “Framed” clip continues with a reporter, Stan Dresden from Channel 8 News, then announces that he is wanted for murder. The reporter is played by FOX 2 reporter Josh Landon, who filmed the scenes in February 2018 in the middle of the night before coming into work, according to Fox 2 Detroit.
Produced by Eminem and Farid Karam Nassar, who is professionally known as Fredwreck, “Framed” is one of the 19 tracks from the Detroit rapper’s ninth studio album titled “Revival.” Eminem and Fredwreck co-wrote the song containing samples of “Pilgrim,” which was written by David John Byron and Kenneth William Hensley and performed by the vocal music group C&K Vocal.
Among the 19 tracks of “Revival,” nine are collaboration songs. These are “Need Me” featuring Pink, “Nowhere Fast” featuring Kehlani, “Tragic Endings” featuring Skylar Grey, “Bad Husband” featuring X Ambassadors, “Like Home” featuring Alicia Keys, “River” featuring Ed Sheeran, “Chloraseptic” featuring Phresher and “Walk on Water” featuring Beyoncé.
