‘Glory 52: Los Angeles’ results: Paul Banasiak vs Troy Jones

Glory Kickboxing held its third event in 2018 titled “Glory 52: Los Angeles” on March 31, 2018 at the Pacific Room in Los Angeles, California. The second match on the main card was a middleweight bout between American kickboxers Paul “The Reaper” Banasiak and Troy Jones.

The middleweight bout between Banasiak and Jones ended in the hands of the judges. It was a unanimous decision in favor of Jones.

After beating Banasiak, Jones now has 1 win and 0 loss. “Glory 52: Los Angeles” marked his professional kickboxing debut and promotional debut.

On the other hand, Banasiak’s record downgraded to 5 wins and 3 losses. “Glory 52: Los Angeles” marked his second loss in the Glory Kickboxing ring.

Banasiak made his promotional debut on December 1, 2017. He lost to Ivan Galaz at “Glory 48: New York.”

“Glory 52: Los Angeles” was headlined by Glory Featherweight Champion Robin van Roosmalen of the Netherlands and Interim Glory Featherweight Champion Kevin VanNostrand of the United States. The Dutch fighter maintained his title after defeating his American opponent via unanimous decision.

In the co-main event of “Glory 52: Los Angeles,” Simon Marcus of Canada and Zack Wells of the United States competed in the middleweight division. The Canadian fighter defeated his American opponent via technical knockout via referee stoppage at 1:03 of Round 1.
