‘Glory 52: Los Angeles’ results: Zakaria Zouggary vs Bailey Sugden

Glory Kickboxing held its third event in 2018 titled “Glory 52: Los Angeles” on March 31, 2018 at the Pacific Room in Los Angeles, California. The first match on the main card was a featherweight bout between Zakaria Zouggary of the Netherlands and Bailey “BadBoy” Sugden of England.

The featherweight bout between Zouggary and Sugden ended in the hands of the judges. It was a unanimous decision in favor of Zougarry.

This is the first time Sugden was defeated in the Glory Kickboxing ring. He now has 2 wins and 1 loss in the promotion, 11 wins and 2 losses overall.

On July 14, 2017, Bugden made a successful Glory Kickboxing debut by defeating Arthur Sorsor. When Bugden returned on December 9, 2017, he defeated Zhang Chenglong.

After “Glory 52: Los Angeles,” Zougarry now has 3 wins and 1 loss in Glory Kickboxing, 31 wins, 4 losses and 1 draw. The fighter from Rotterdam represents Team Souwer.

“Glory 52: Los Angeles” was headlined by Glory Featherweight Champion Robin van Roosmalen of the Netherlands and Interim Glory Featherweight Champion Kevin VanNostrand of the United States. The Dutch fighter maintained his title after defeating his American opponent via unanimous decision.

In the co-main event of “Glory 52: Los Angeles,” Simon Marcus of Canada and Zack Wells of the United States competed in the middleweight division. The Canadian fighter defeated his American opponent via technical knockout via referee stoppage at 1:03 of Round 1.
