Brave Combat Federation bantamweight contender Frans “The Black Mamba” Mlambo of Ireland, alongside his manager Razvan Porfiri, has responded to the rematches requested by Michael “Macon D” Deiga-Scheck of Germany and Felipe Efrain of Brazil. Both Scheck and Efrain lost to once to Mlambo via controversial referee stoppages.
On November 17, 2017, Deiga-Scheck lost to Mlambo via technical knockout via punches at “Brave 9: The Kingdom of Champions.” On March 2, 2018, Efrain lost to Mlambo via technical knockout at “Brave 10: The Kingdom Rises.”
“What the referee was thinking is not in my control,” Mlambo said. “That is the official decision and they must contest the referee. In order to earn my rematch against Stephen Loman, I had to go through Jalal Al Daja, Deiga-Scheck and Efrain.”
“The same applies for Diega Scheck and Efrain,” Mlambo added. “They have to fight and prove that they are worthy to get a rematch since I am on a 3 fight winning streak. I would suggest that Diega must fight Efrain and whoever wins advances to the next level.”
Since losing to Mlambo, both Scheck and Efrain have been campaigning for a rematch. On the other hand, Mlambo has a rematch for himself as he is finally set to face reigning Brave CF Bantamweight Champion Stephen “The Sniper” Loman of the Philippines again.
On September 23, 2016, Mlambo lost to Loman via unanimous decision at “Brave 1: Bahrain.” It was the inaugural event of Brave CF.
The rematch with Loman also Mlambo the first South African fighter to be entitled an opportunity to fight for the bantamweight championship title of Brave CF. Also, Mlambo stands a chance to become the second champion from Straight Blast Gym Ireland after his teammate Conor “The Notorious” McGregor of Ireland.
The rematch between Mlambo and Loman has yet to be scheduled. It will be for the Brave CF Bantamweight Championship title.
