One of the undercard bouts at “ONE: Grit and Glory” is between Radeem Rahman, 30, of Singapore and Tang De Pan, 25, of Changsha, China. The latter is a sanda practitioner and currently unbeaten as a professional in martial arts.
A former Chinese National Wrestling Champion, Tang is highly-aggressive and relentless, always looking for the quick finish. Making his ONE Championship debut in January 2016, he defeated countryman Zhou Biao with a highlight-reel knockout by slamming his opponent emphatically to the mat.
In his most recent contest, Tang defeated Asraful Islam by unanimous decision. Currently, Tang has 2 wins and 0 loss.
On the other hand, Rahman has 2 wins and 1 loss. He is a former Singapore Muay Thai champion and striking specialist.
In September 2011, Rahman made his ONE Championship debut as part of the historic first-ever ONE Championship event titled “ONE: Champion vs Champion.” He defeated Susovan Ghosh of India by first-round technical knockout.
After a long break from competition, Rahman is ready to resume his professional career and make his return to the ONE Championship cage against Tang at “ONE: Grit and Glory,” which will be headlined by reigning ONE Strawweight World Champion Alex “Little Rock” Silva, 35, of Sao Paulo, Brazil takes on Yoshitaka “Nobita” Naito, 34, of Matsudo, Japan in a highly anticipated rematch.
