04 April 2018 – Singapore: The largest global sports media property in Asian history, ONE Championship™ (ONE), has just announced additional bouts for “ONE: Unstoppable Dreams” set for May 18, 2018 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. The absolute best in local and international martial arts talent are ready to showcase their incredible skills on the largest global platform of martial arts competition.
One of the bouts on the undercard of “ONE: Unstoppable Dreams” is between “The Terminator” Sunoto, 33, of Indonesia and Roel “Akiyama” Rosauro, 29, of Cebu City, Philippines. This will be the second ONE Championship bout of the latter.
Rosauro is a Filipino martial arts prospect who trains in the art of Yaw-Yan. A striking specialist, he is known for his powerful hands and lightning-quick punches.
On February 23, 2018, Rosauro made his promotional debut at “ONE: Quest for Gold” opposite Li Kai Wen, 22, of China. Joining a growing list of promising featherweight talents in ONE Championship, Rosauro is returning to action seeking victory against Indonesian martial arts.
On the other hand, Sunoto is a ONE Championship bantamweight and a former WKF Indonesia Champion. Representing IndoGym and Team Phantom, he fights with a style that combines elements of kickboxing, karate, and jiu-jitsu.
With a penchant for scoring spectacular finishes, Sunoto is known as an aggressive warrior who never backs down from a challenge and five of his eight victories have ended before the final bell. In his last outing, he continued to impress on the global stage, defeating Hisyam Samsudin by unanimous decision.
Sunoto is entering the ONE Championship cage for the 10th time at “ONE: Unstoppable Dreams,” which will be headlined by reigning ONE Women’s Strawweight World Champion Angela “Unstoppable” Lee, 21, of Singapore and Mei “V.V.” Yamaguchi, 35, of Japan.
