Jenny “Lady GoGo” Huang, 27, of Chinese Taipei is about to enter the ONE Championship cage for the seventh time. It will also mark the second time she is fighting a Filipino fighter from the famed Team Lakay of Baguio City, Philippines.

On December 2, 2016, Huang submitted Team Lakay fighter April Osenio, 23, via gogoplata at “ONE: Age of Domination.” On April 20, 2018, Huang will compete against Osenio’s fellow Team Lakay fighter Gina “Conviction” Iniong, 28, at “ONE: Heroes of Honor” in the atomweight division.

“She is a good striker with heavy hands,” Huang said of Iniong. “I fought her teammate April Osenio before. Like April, I know she will come out with guns blazing.”

A six-time national Wushu champion, Iniong owns a professional record of 6-3, with 4 of her 6 victories coming by thrilling finish, including 2 highlight-reel submissions and 2 knockouts. After falling short to Yamaguchi in a title eliminator in November 2017, the Filipino fighter aims to regain her winning form as she takes on Huang.

But Huang is determined to build upon her judo black belt background and continue her natural evolution as a martial artist. She splits her time between Northern China’s Tianjin Top Team and Hiroyuki Abe’s Abe Ani Combat Club in Tokyo Japan.

Currently, Huang has 5 wins and 2 losses. Before defeating Osenio, the Taiwanese fighter defeated Daizy Singh, Elena Pashnina, Amira Badr and Jeet Toshi.

As she shares the ONE Championship stage with a stand-up specialist like Iniong, Huang bared that she felt the inclination to improve on all facets of the game. About her “ONE: Heroes of Honor” opponent, she said, “Gina Iniong is tough as nails.”

“But l will show everyone my new skills in this bout,” Iniong added. “I am confident that I will win this time around.”

Headlined by Team Lakay fighter Kevin “The Silencer” Belingon, 30, and Andrew Leone, 28, of the United States, “ONE: Heroes of Honor” will take place at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines. It will also make the debut of ONE Super Series headlined by Giorgio Petrosyan, 32, of Italy and “Smokin” Jo Nattawut, 25, of Thailand.

On March 11, 2017, Huang had her first loss in her career after being knocked out by reigning ONE Women’s Atomweight World Champion Angela “Unstoppable” Lee, 21, of Singapore at “ONE: Warrior Kingdom.” Watch a clip from the bout here:
