Oops, Team Lakay did it again! On April 21, 2017, the famed mixed martial arts team from Baguio City, Philippines had 5 wins and 0 loss at “ONE: Kings of Destiny” at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines. In the same venue on April 20, 2018, the team had 3 wins and 0 loss.

The five Team Lakay fighters who won at “ONE: Kings of Destiny” were Eduard “The Landslide” Folayang, Danny “The King” Kingad, Kevin “The Silencer” Belingon, Honorio “The Rock” Banario and Gina “Conviction” Iniong. At “ONE: Heroes of Honor,” it was only Belingon, Banario and Iniong, who were among the first fighters to use the newly launched five-rope ring of ONE Championship.

On the preliminary card of “ONE: Heroes of Honor,” Iniong competed in the atomweight division against Jenny “Lady GoGo” of Taipei, Taiwan. The Team Lakay fighter defeated her Taiwanese opponent via unanimous decision after three five-minute rounds.

On the main card, Banario faced Adrian “The Hunter” Pang of Australia and Papua New Guinea in the lightweight division. The Team Lakay fighter won via split decision against his Australian opponent originally from Papua New Guinea.

In the main event of the evening, Belingon battled it out with Andrew Leone of the United States in the bantamweight division.  The Team Lakay fighter knocked out Leone at 1:27 of Round 2.

During the “ONE: Heroes of Honor” fight night, several Team Lakay warriors were in the venue to support Iniong, Banario and Belingon. Among them were Folayang, Kingad, Edward “The Ferocious” Kelly, Joshua “The Passion” Pacio and reigning Interim ONE Featherweight World Champion Geje “Gravity” Eustaquio.
