Paul Iskandar represented Lebanon at Mister International 2016 and competed against 34 other candidates at The Stage Theater of Asiatique the Riverfront in Bangkok, Thailand on February 13, 2017. He won the title.
Runner-up to Iskandar was Masaya Yamagishi of Japan and the second runner-up was Vinicio Modolo of Italy. Finishing in the Top 6 were Chris Veltkamp of the Netherlands, Kittikun Tansuhat of Thailand and Nguyen Tien Dat of Vietnam.

Mister International 2017 contestants
On April 30, 2018, Iskandar will crown his successor at the National Theater of Yangon in Yangon, Myanmar. It is the 12th edition of the international beauty pageant founded by Alan Sim of Singapore.
Michael Bristol will host the coronation ceremony. It will be aired on MNTV and Myawaddy TV.
