On January 29, 2016, Artist Partner Group and Atlantic Records released Puth’s debut studio album titled “Nine Track Mind”. The North American edition of the album has 12 songs, which he recorded from 2014 to 2015.

“Voicenotes” has 13 tracks. Puth recorded the songs from 2015 to 2018 at his residence in Los Angeles, California, USA.
