A Muay Thai legend and a multiple-time Lumpinee Stadium world champion, Sam-A Gaiyanghadao, 34, of Thailand is regarded as one of the best strikers in the world. On May 18, 2018, he will compete for the inaugural ONE Super Series Flyweight Muay Thai Championship against Sergio “Samurai” Wielzen, 30, of Suriname and the Netherlands at “ONE: Unstoppable Dreams.”

Gaiyanghadao made his ONE Championship debut on January 26, 2018 at “ONE: Global Superheroes” at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines where he knocked out Joseph Lasiri, 26, of Italy in ONE Championship’s first ever Muay Thai match. Taking place at the Singapore Indoor Stadium in Kallang, Singapore, “ONE: Unstoppable Dreams” will mark Gaiyanghadao’s second bout in the promotion.

Thank you ONE Championship for the opportunity to compete for the world title, I am truly honored and will make everyone proud.”
