Stephen “The Sniper” Loman, 23, showcased his skills during the open workout before his fans in Belfast on June 8, 2018. Representing Team Lakay from Baguio City, Philippines, he is scheduled to defend his Brave Combat Federation Bantamweight Champion title at “Brave 13: European Evolution” on June 9, 2018 in the capital city of Northern Ireland.

During the open workout in Belfast, Loman made a mark by interacting with the local fans and the mixed martial arts community. The presence of the reigning Brave CF Bantamweight Champion also attracted the Filipino community in Belfast.

“Brave 13: European Evolution” marks the first time a Brave CF event is taking place in Europe and the first time a fighter from the Philippines is headlining the main event in the promotion. Loman was accompanied by his mother Naty Nabehet Loman who traveled with him to Belfast to witness the historic championship title defense.

“It is a great opportunity to defend the championship in Europe,” Stephen stated. “The world is becoming aware about the growth of mixed martial arts in the Philippines. It matters a lot to be the champion of Brave Combat Federation.”

“Team Lakay and Mark Sangiao made a huge difference in my career,” the reigning Brave CF Bantamweight Champion added. “I will defend my championship and have trained the best for this. I am confident about my victory.”

Stephen’s challenger at “Brave 13: European Evolution” is Frans “The Black Mamba” Mlambo, 27, who is representing Straight Blast Gym (SBG) Ireland from Dublin, Ireland. Their upcoming bout will be a rematch.

Stephen and Mlambo first encountered each other on September 23, 2016 at “Brave 1: The Beginning,” which took place at the Khalifa Sports City Arena in Isa Town, Bahrain. The Team Lakay fighter defeated his SBG Ireland opponent via unanimous decision.

Taking place at the SSE Arena in Belfast, “Brave 13: European Evolution” features 13 bouts in total. Meanwhile, here is a clip featuring Stephen:
