Representing Team Lakay of Baguio City, Philippines, Filipino homegrown talent Edward “The Ferocious” Kelly, 34, looks for another scintillating performance after scoring a highlight-reel finish in his last bout. He is set to have his second scheduled match under the ONE Championship banner in 2018.

On June 23, 2018, Kelly will be squaring off with former ONE Featherweight World Champion Narantungalag “Tungaa” Jadambaa, 42, on the undercard of “ONE: Pinnacle of Power,” which will take place at the Studio City Event Center in Macau, China . The latter is fighting out of Ulaangom, Mongolia.

Kelly is eyeing a follow-up to his 21-second knockout win over Meas Meul, 28, of Cambodia at “ONE: Global Superheroes” on January 26, 2018. The Team Lakay fighter engaged Meul at the center of the cage at the opening bell and connected on a quick three-punch combination before unleashing the final blow that sent the Cambodian contender’s face first into the canvas.

Now, Kelly owns both the fastest knockout and finish in ONE Championship’s featherweight division with the scorching stoppage going viral online. He said, “I am a martial artist who always looks for the finish.”

“As much as possible, I want to give the fans what they want,” the Team Lakay fighter added. “They came and bought a ticket for an action-packed bout with an amazing conclusion.”

At “ONE: Pinnacle of Power,” Kelly’s fans should expect that he will have the same mentality, he said. He added, “I will look for that finish.”

Headlining “ONE: Pinnacle of Power” is Kelly’s fellow Team Lakay fighter, ONE Interim Flyweight World Champion Geje “Gravity” Eustaquio, 29, and reigning ONE Flyweight World Champion Adriano “Mikinho” Moraes, 29, of Brazil. The title unification bout was originally set as the co-main event.

In the co-main event, which was originally the main event, reigning ONE Women’s Strawweight World Champion “The Panda” Xiong Jing Nan, 30, of China will defend her title for the first time. Her challenger is Laura “La Gladiadora” Balin, 38, of Argentina.
