Mostafa Galal Mohammed Elezali of Egypt won Man of the World 2017 on July 28, 2017. He and other 27 candidates competed for the title at One Esplanade in Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines.
Runner-up to Elezali was Nguyễn Hữu Long of Vietnam while Abou Sahyoun Wassim of Palestine was second runner-up. Jake Edward Limtiaco of Guam and Victor Suiu of Moldova finished in the Top 5.
Man of the World 2018 contestants
On July 14, 2018, Galal will crown his successor at the Filoil Flying V Centre in San Juan City, Metro Manila, Philippines. It is the second edition of the international male beauty pageant organized by the Prime Event Productions Philippines Foundation Inc. (PEPPS).

Ganiel Krishnan and Michael Bristol will host the Man of the World 2018 coronation ceremony. On July 30, 2016, she competed against 29 other Mutya ng Pilipinas 2016 candidates at the Newport Performing Arts Theater of Resorts World Manila in Pasay City and won the title.
On November 23, 2016, Krishnan represented the Philippines at Miss Asia Pacific International 2016 and competed against 39 other candidates at the Sheridan Beach Resort and Spa Puerto in Princesa, Palawan, Philippines. She was second runner-up to Tessa Helena le Conge of the Netherlands.
