Fighting out of Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia, Muhammad “Jungle Cat” Aiman, 23, is fighting an undefeated opponent at “ONE: Beyond the Horizon” on September 8, 2018 at the Baoshan Arena in Shanghai, China. However, the Malaysian mixed martial artist believes in his skills and is confident about his chances of winning.

Training out of Bali MMA, Aiman holds a professional MMA record of 4 wins and 2 losses. His opponent at “ONE: Beyond the Horizon” is “Rock Man” Chen Lei, 29, of Changsha, China, who currently has 8 wins and 0 loss.

Going up against a former Shanghai Open BJJ Champion, Aiman knows that one of his opponent’s main strengths will be on the ground. But the Malaysian contender sees some parts of his undefeated Chinese opponent’s game that can be taken advantage of.

“I can beat him with my striking and expose that his conditioning is bad,” Aiman said of Chen. “I feel like I can make him tired, but not make myself tired. That is how I want to beat him.”

At “ONE: Beyond the Horizon,” Aiman and Chen will compete in the bantamweight division. It will be the fourth bout of the evening.

“I feel like he is really strong, and he is good on the ground,” Aiman said of his Chinese opponent. “He is strong once he gets you down and he uses his strength to put you down but I feel like there are still a couple of holes that I can expose. He kind of gassed out in one fight so I will try to break him down.”

In ONE Championship’s stacked 65.8-kilogram weight class, Aiman still has work to do in order to be part of the title contender conversation. If he can snatch his third consecutive win and do it against an unbeaten prospect like Chen, then it is certainly a step in the right direction.

“I want to go in there and prove to myself that I can beat a top guy in my weight class,” Aiman stated. “It is very important to me, and I am really excited.”

Meanwhile, here is a clip from one of Aiman’s previous ONE Championship bouts:
