Nong-O Gaiyanghadao, Mehdi Zatout

4 September 2018 – Bangkok, Thailand: The largest global sports media property in Asian history, ONE Championship™ (ONE), has just announced the complete card for “ONE: Kingdom of Heroes,” which is set to ignite the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand on October 6, 2018. It will feature eight ONE Super Series striking contests, which include one boxing bout, and six mixed martial arts matches.

One of the bouts on the ONE Super Series card is between Nong-O Gaiyanghadao, 31, of Thailand and Mehdi “Diamond Heart” Zatout of France. They will compete in a Muay Thai bout.

Nong-O is considered by Thai boxing purists as one of the top pound-for-pound Muay Thai practitioners in the world. He is a four-time Lumpinee Stadium champion, Rajadamnern Muay Thai world champion, a two-time Thailand national champion, a two-time Fighter of the Year and a five-division world champion in the sport.

The Thai martial artist is known for the incredible speed, power and precision behind all his strikes. He made his successful ONE Super Series debut earlier this year by defeating two-time World Boxing Council Muay Thai World Champion Fabio Pinca, 34, of France.

On the other hand, Zatout is an International Sport Karate Association and World Boxing Council World Champion. His passion for Muay Thai was first ignited when he was 10 years old.

Over the course of a highly-successful career spanning more than 20 years, Zatout would go on to travel to Thailand more than 50 times to train and compete, amassing over 100 competitive bouts under kickboxing and Muay Thai rules. After winning two national titles in France, a European championship and two World Titles, he now finds himself among the world’s best strikers in ONE Super Series.

In the main event of “ONE: Kingdom of Heroes” reigning World Boxing Council Super Flyweight World Champion Srisaket Sor Rungvisai, 31, of Thailand will defend his title against Iran “MagnifiKO” Diaz, 28, of Mexico. In the co-main event, Stamp Fairtex, 20, of Thailand will challenge reigning ONE Kickboxing Atomweight World Champion “Killer Bee” Kai Ting Chuang, 23, of Chinese Taipei.
