4 September 2018 – Bangkok, Thailand: The largest global sports media property in Asian history, ONE Championship™ (ONE), has just announced the complete card for “ONE: Kingdom of Heroes,” which is set to ignite the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand on October 6, 2018. Once again, the biggest and brightest stars in martial arts are ready to grace the ONE Championship ring.
One of the MMA bouts is between Dodi “The Maung” Mardian, 34, of Indonesia and Ramon “The Bicolano” Gonzales, 31, of the Philippines. They will compete in a mixed martial arts match in the flyweight division.
Mardian is a silat practitioner and an Indonesian combat sports veteran. Also skilled in the arts of Muay Thai and sanda, he made his cage debut in 2016 after deciding to showcase his talent on the biggest stage of competition.
The Indonesian contender is looking to make a name for himself as he seeks to put his skills to the test in the world’s toughest proving ground for martial arts. In his next contest, he will take on a Filipino opponent.
Representing Hitman MMA of ONE Championship athlete Burn “Hitman” Soriano, 32, of the Philippines, Gonzales is a two-time Philippine National Kyokushin Karate Champion who has proven his karate mastery in competitions all over the world. “ONE: Kingdom of Heroes” marks Gonzales’s fourth appearance in the promotion.
In the main event of “ONE: Kingdom of Heroes,” reigning World Boxing Council Super Flyweight World Champion Srisaket Sor Rungvisai, 31, of Thailand will defend his title against Iran “MagnifiKO” Diaz, 28, of Mexico. In the co-main event, Stamp Fairtex, 20, of Thailand will challenge reigning ONE Kickboxing Atomweight World Champion “Killer Bee” Kai Ting Chuang, 23, of Chinese Taipei.
