Representing Kenya, actor and television host Robert “Cula” Budi, 28, is one of the bachelors from around the world who will compete for the Mister World 2019 title. He is 5’9” tall.
Budi hails from Kenya’s capital city Nairobi. Among the tourist attractions in the city are the Kenyatta International Conference Centre (KICC) helipad, the Nairobi National Museum, the Giraffe Centre, Bomas of Kenya, the Nairobi National Park, The Forest, the Ngong Hills Wind Power Station, the Karura Forest, the African Heritage House, Olepolos Country Club, the Maasai Ostrich Resort, the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, Kitengela, Rolf’s Place and the Kazuri Bead Factory.
While pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Sport Science at United States International University-Africa in Nairobi, Budi works as a TV host, actor and fitness model. He aspires to become a film director and the governor of Nairobi someday.
Besting 19 other contestants, Budi was crowned as Mr. World Kenya 2018 along with Ms. World Kenya 2018 Finali Galaiya, 24, at The Mall Westlands in Nairobi on September 8, 2018. He succeeded his fellow Nairobi native Kevin Oduor Owiti, 23.
Owiti made it to the Top 5 of Mr. World 2016. The coronation night took place at the Floral Hall of the Southport Convention Centre in Southport, England on July 19, 2016.
On August 23, 2019, Mr. World 2016 Rohit Khandelwal, 29, of India will crown his successor at the Mr. World 2019 coronation night at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines. It will be the 10th edition of the international male beauty pageant.
Mr. World 2019 marks the first time the pageant is held in the Philippines. If Budi wins the crown, he will be the pageant’s first titleholder from Kenya.
