It is new year, new home for Filipino-Australian beauty queen, model and singer Catriona Gray. She is now leaving her home country Philippines as she has to move to New York City, New York, United States to fulfill her duties as Miss Universe 2018.
On January 2, 2019, Gray took to Instagram to share a photo of herself styled by Ton Lao and Andrea Aliman. The reigning Miss Universe is wearing a Bomberong jacket by Jor-El Espina in the photo.
Currently, Gray is followed by almost 4 million accounts on Instagram. Nervous about the chill of New York City in winter, she asked her followers to recommend to her things to do, see and eat in the city.
This will be Gray’s first time to reside in New York City. The city is home to the Times Square, the Empire State Building, the Chrysler Building, the Flatiron Building, the Brooklyn Bridge, the Bow Bridge, the Grand Central Terminal, the Rockefeller Center, the World Trade Center Site, the Central Park, the Bryant Park, the Statue of Liberty, the Wall Street, the South of Houston Street also known as SoHo, the Chinatown, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Museum of Modern Art and St. Patrick’s Cathedral.
