“The Masked Singer” premiered on Fox on January 2, 2019. One of the mystery celebrity contestants is nicknamed The Peacock, who claimed that he started performing as a child.
“I chose to become The Peacock because we both share love of the spotlight,” The Peacock said. “When I was 5 years old, I walked on to a stage for the first time and from that day on, I was hooked. Putting on a show is in my DNA but it’s probably been a while since your mom had a poster of me on her bedroom wall.”
“As my dear friend Michael Jackson once told me, ‘If you’re gonna reinvent yourself, you gotta be someone the world has never seen before,'” The Peacock added. “So here it goes. It’s never too late for this showman to make his comeback.”
