Seung Hwan Lee represented South Korea at Mister International 2017 at the National Theatre of Yangon in Yangon, Myanmar on April 30, 2018. She competed against 35 other candidates and won the title.
On February 24, 2019, Lee crowned his successor Trịnh Văn Bảo at the Filoil Flying V Arena in San Juan City, Metro Manila, Philippines. The latter is the second Mister International from Vietnam following Ngô Tiến Đoàn, who was crowned in 2008.
