Training out of Frankers Fight Team, Enriko “The Hurricane” Kehl, 27, of Germany was one of the winners at “ONE: Reign of Valor.” He made his ONE Super Series debut, marking his first bout in the ONE Championship striking-only league.
“ONE: Reign of Valor” featured nine mixed martial arts matches and five ONE Super Series contests, which were kickboxing bouts. In the seventh bout of the evening, Kehl faced Liam Nolan, 21, of the United Kingdom in a kickboxing contest in the featherweight division with Atsushi Onari as the referee.
Both striking superstars, Nolan and Kehl made their ONE Super Series debuts in a fiery kickboxing contest. The two martial artists traded their best strikes for the majority of the bout right at the center of the ONE Championship cage.
In the second round, Kehl connected on a thudding body shot to force Nolan to take a knee. When action resumed, the German kickboxer put the finishing touches with a fierce combination against the cage.
Nolan failed to beat the 10 count so Onari put a stop to the contest after 2 minutes and 12 seconds in the second round. Kehl was awarded the knockout victory.
Winning at “ONE: Reign of Valor” improved Kehl’s professional kickboxing record to 47 wins, 14 losses and 2 draws. On the other hand, Nolan now holds a professional kickboxing and Muay Thai record of 16 wins, 5 losses and 1 draw.
Nolan and Kehl were the sole representatives of their respective countries at “ONE: Reign of Valor.” The other countries represented were Australia, Cambodia, China, Finland, Guam, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Morocco, Myanmar, the Philippines, Portugal, Romania, Sweden and Thailand.
Meanwhile, here is a seminar with Kehl:
