Brave Combat Federation’s first fight week in 2019 is underway as fighters from all over the world have touched down in the Philippines to take part in the groundbreaking “Brave 22: Storm of Warriors.” Before the fight night, some of the brightest stars on the fight card will lighten up the Resort World Manila in Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines on March 13, 2019 for the open workouts followed by a special press conference.
The “Brave 22: Storm of Warriors” open workouts will take place at the second floor of the Newport Mall inside the Resort World Manila at 6:00 p.m. (Manila time). The event will feature a presentation from the fighters, who will do a quick training session for the fans, and a question-and-answer session with the media.
Expected at the event are reigning Brave CF Bantamweight Champion Stephen “The Sniper” Loman, 23, of the Philippines and his challenger Elias “Smile” Boudegzdame, 25, of France come fight night. Also attending the event are co-headliners John Brewin, 24, of Auckland, New Zealand and Cian “The Warrior” Cowley, 25, of Dublin, Ireland.
“Brave 22: Storm of Warriors” will featuring nine mixed martial arts matches. Out of the 18 fighters on the card, 11 are Filipinos.
Among the Filipino fighters attending the “Brave 22: Storm of Warriors” open workouts are Jeremy “The Juggernaut” Pacatiw, 22, Mark “The Ruthless” Alcoba, 27, and Rolando Gabriel “Dy Incredible” Dy, 28. Dy’s opponent Mehmosh “The Renegade” Raza, 23, of Islamabad, Pakistan is also expected to be at the event.
The other Filipino fighters on the fight card are Rex “T-Rex” de Lara, 36, Jon Chris “Happy Feet” Corton, 26, Jayson “Oragon” Margallo, 24, Ariel “The Lady Boxer” Oliveros, 24, Harold “The Artist” Banario, 24, Jason “Python” Vergara, 22, and Jomar Pa-ac, 21. Corton, Banario and Pa-ac are training at Team Lakay in Baguio City, Philippines with Loman and Pacatiw.
Taking place at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City on March 15, 2019, “Brave 22: Storm of Warriors” marks the first time the biggest MMA promotion in the Middle East lands in the Philippines. Ten local warriors will take on the world’s best in a fight card full of excitement and entertainment.
