Brandon “Killer B” Davis, 28, of Starkille, Mississippi, United States was one of the winners at “UFC 236.” It was his second victory in the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

Featuring 13 mixed martial arts matches, “UFC 236” took place at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, USA on April 13, 2019. In the first bout of the evening, Davis faced Randy Costa, 24, of Tauton, Massachusetts, USA in the bantamweight division.

The referee put a stop to the contest after 1 minute and 12 seconds in the second round. Davis submitted Costa via rear-naked choke making the former the first ever fighter to defeat the latter.

“Hey, y’all might not think I’m ready but let me get Sean O’Malley,” Davis told Joe Rogan in his post-fight octagon interview. “I’m trying to get that. Sean O’Malley, 135. Let me watch ‘Game of Thrones’ for six weeks and then let me get Sean O’Malley.”

“Game of Thrones” Season 8 has six episodes. It will air on HBO from April 14, 2019 to May 19, 2019.

O’Malley is an undefeated MMA fighter with 10 wins and 0 loss. In his most recent bout, which was at “UFC 222” at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, he defeated Andre “The Asian Sensation” Soukhamthath, 30, of Lake Worth, Florida, USA via unanimous decision.

Winning at “UFC 236” improved Davis’s professional MMA record to 10 wins and 5 losses. On the other hand, Costa now has 4 wins and 1 loss.

As an MMA fighter, Davis has been competing professionally since 2014. On August 1, 2017, he won via unanimous decision against Austin “The Golden Boy” Arnett, 27, of Clarkston, Washington, USA in “Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series” Season 1 episode 4.

In 2018, Davis had three losses in the UFC. He lost via unanimous decision to Kyle “Crash” Bochniak, 32, of Gloucester, Massachusetts and Enrique “El Fuerte” Barzola, 29, of El Agustino, Lima, Peru and via submission to Zabit Magomedsharipov, 28, of Makhachkala, Dagestan, Russia.

“UFC 236” marked Davis’s fourth UFC bout excluding his appearance in “Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series.” He earned his first win in the promotion on February 18, 2018 when he defeated Steven “Ocho” Peterson, 28, of Plano, Texas via unanimous decision at “UFC Fight Night 126” at the Frank Erwin Center in Austin, Texas, USA.

Including the U.S., six countries were represented at “UFC 236.” The other countries are Brazil, Germany, Nigeria, Russia and Ukraine.
