
Training out of Yawchadelic MMA in Bantayan, Cebu, Philippines, Adonis Sevilleno was one of the winners at “URCC Global: Raw Fury,” the first event of URCC Global in 2019. It was his second victory in the Philippines-based mixed martial arts promotion.
Featuring 10 MMA matches, which included four title bouts, “URCC Global: Raw Fury” took place at The Cove at Okada Manila in Parañaque City, Metro Manila, Philippines on April 27, 2019. The first bout of the evening was between Sevilleno and Mark Valerio in the bantamweight division.
JR Rulloda served as the referee. After three five-minute rounds, the bantamweight contest was left in the hands of the judges.
In the end, Rulloda raised the hand of Sevilleno. The Cebuano contender was declared the winner via unanimous decision.
Both fighting out of the Philippines, Sevilleno and Valerio were among the 17 hometown heroes competed at “URCC Global: Raw Fury.” China, Japan, South Korea, Switzerland and the United States were also represented.
Competing professionally since 2013, Valerio made his URCC Global debut at “URCC Global: Raw Fury.” Training out 1Revolt Fight Camp MMA Philippines in Meycauyan, Bulacan, Philippines, he was riding a three-bout winning streak.
As for Sevilleno, he has been competing professionally since 2016. “URCC Global: Raw Fury” marked the Yawchadelic MMA fighter’s second URCC Global bout.
Winning at “URCC Global: Raw Fury” improved Sevilleno’s professional MMA record to 2 wins and 2 losses. On the other hand, Valerio now has 6 wins and 4 losses.
On December 13, 2017, Sevilleno made his URCC Global debut at “URCC: BETS 4” at the Waterfront Airport Hotel and Casino Mactan in Cebu. He defeated his fellow Filipino fighter Arnel “Ronin X” Ylanan via unanimous decision.
