Representing Russia, model, actor and college student Anakin Nontiprasit, 20, is one of the bachelors from around the world who will compete for the Mister World 2019 title. He is 6’2” tall.
Anakin hails from Maha Sarakham, Isan, Thailand. It is home to Kaeng Leng Chan, the Khong Kut Wai Fish Sanctuary, the Kae Dam Wooden Bridge, Bueng Bon, Had Wang Go, the Isan Core Area, the Kosamphi Forest Park, the Dun Lamphan No-hunting Area and Ban Phaeng.
Born in Thailand, Anakin spent six years of his childhood in Canada and graduated from Monarch Park Collegiate Institute in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The Maha Sarakham native is currently studying International Communication Arts at the Stamford International University in Bangkok, Thailand.
While studying, Anakin works as a model and an actor. His favorite sports are ice hockey, football and Muay Thai and he also enjoys lego building.
On April 29, 2019, Anakin was crowned Mr. World Thailand 2019 at the Demeter Show, Damnoen-Saduak in Ratchaburi, Thailand. He bested 76 other candidates.
The last time Thailand was represented in Mr. World was in 2010. Rattasart Rungsirithip, 33, of Chiang Mai, Thailand did not place in the sixth edition of the pageant, which took place in Incheon, South Korea, but he made it to the Top 8 in the Mr. World Sports contest.
On August 23, 2019, Mr. World 2016 Rohit Khandelwal, 29, of India will crown his successor at the Mr. World 2019 coronation night at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines. It will be the 10th edition of the international male beauty pageant.
Mr. World 2019 marks the first time the pageant is held in the Philippines. If Anakin wins the crown, he will be the pageant’s first titleholder from Thailand.
