Manny Pacquiao was born in Kibawe, Bukidnon, Philippines. The municipality is around 214 kilometers away from General Santos City, Philippines where he grew up.
Aside from Kibawe, Bukidnon has 19 other municipalities namely Baungon, Cabanglasan, Damulog, Dangcagan, Don Carlos, Impasugong, Kadingilan, Kalilangan, Kitaotao, Lantapan, Libona, Malitbog, Manolo Fortlich, Maramag, Pangantucan, Quezon, San Fernando, Sumilao and Talakag. The province also has two component cities namely Malaybalay and Valencia.
Malaybalay is the capital of Bukidnon. The city celebrates the Kaamulan Festival from the third week of February to the second week of March.
Rogelio Neil “Oneil” Pepito Roque was born in Valencia. He has been the congressman of Bukidnon’s fourth district since June 30, 2013.
