Camarines Norte is one of the six provinces of the Bicol Region of the Philippines. The others are Albay, Camarines Sur, Catanduanes, Masbate and Sorsogon.

Camarines Norte has 12 municipalities namely Basud, Capalonga, Daet, Jose Panganiban, Labo, Mercedes, Paracale, San Lorenzo Ruiz, San Vicente, Santa Elena, Talisay and Vinzons. The municipalities collectively have 282 barangays, 25 of which are in Daet, the capital of the province.
On June 5, 2011, Rhizsa Jerrika Bravo represented Camarines Norte at Miss Philippines Earth 2011 and competed against 47 other candidates at the Puerto Princesa Coliseum in Puerto Princesa, Philippines. She was unplaced.
On June 11, 2016, Princess Cecilio represented Daet at Miss Philippines Earth 2016 and competed against 45 other candidates at the University of the Philippines Theater in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines. She was unplaced.
