Candelaria is a municipality in Quezon, one of the five provinces in the Calabarzon region of the Philippines. The province was named after Manuel Luis Quezon, who served as the second president of the country from November 15, 1935 to his death.

Quezon turned 65 on August 18, 1943 and died in Saranac Lake, New York, United States on August 1, 1944. He was born in Baler, Nueva Ecija, Philippines, which is around 382 kilometers away from Candelaria.

Pilipinas 2018, competed against 39 other candidates at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines, ranked second and was crowned Bb. Pilipinas-International 2018.

On November 9, 2018, Ahtisa represented the Philippines at Miss International 2018 and competed against 76 other candidates at Tokyo Dome City Hall in Tokyo, Japan. She was runner-up to Mariem Velazco of Venezuela.
