The Central Visayas region of the Philippines has two provinces namely Bohol and Cebu and three independent cities namely Cebu City, Lapu-Lapu City and Mandaue. The three cities are geographically located in Cebu but independent from the province.

On March 18, 2018, Eva Psychee Patalinjug represented Cebu City at Binibining Pilipinas 2018 and competed against 39 other candidates at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines. She ranked fourth and was crowned Bb. Pilipinas Grand International 2018.
On May 19, 2018, Marla Alforque represented Cebu City at Miss Earth Philippines 2018 and competed against 41 other candidates at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, Metro Manila. She finished in the Top 10 and was named one of the five runners-up.
