2019 Mandaluyong congressman, mayor, vice mayor, councilors elected

Mandaluyong is one of the 16 cities in Metro Manila, Philippines. The others are Caloocan, Las Piñas, Makati, Malabon, Manila, Marikina, Muntinlupa, Navotas, Parañaque, Pasay, Pasig, Quezon City, San Juan, Taguig and Valenzuela.

Carmelita “Menchie” Escio Aguilar Abalos has been the mayor of Mandaluyong since June 30, 2016. Born in Cavite City, Cavite, Philippines, she turned 56 on July 2, 2018.

On March 22, 1981, Abalos represented Cavite at Binibining Pilipinas 1981 and competed against 31 other candidates at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, Metro Manila. She was unplaced.

On March 18, 2018, Tormes represented Mandaluyong at Binibining Pilipinas 2018 and competed against 39 other candidates at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City. She finished in the Top 25 and won the Miss Congeniality award.

On May 19, 2018, Flordeliz Mabao represented Mandaluyong at Miss Earth Philippines 2018 and competed against 41 other candidates at the SM Mall of Asia Arena. She was unplaced.
