2019 Nueva Vizcaya congressmen, governor, vice governor, board members elected

Nueva Vizcaya is one of the five provinces in the Cagayan Valley region of the Philippines. The others are Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Nueva Ecija and Quirino.

With a total area of 4,813.88 square kilometers, Nueva Vizcaya has 15 municipalities namely Alfonso Castañeda, Ambaguio, Aritao, Bagabag, Bambang, Bayombong, Diadi, Dupax del Norte, Dupax del Sur, Kasibu, Kayapa, Quezon, Santa Fe, Solano and Villaverde. The municipalities collectively have 275 barangays, 25 of which are in Bayombong, the capital of the province.

Dupax del Norte native Carlos Mapili Padilla was the congressman of Nueva Vizcaya from June 30, 1987 to June 30, 1992, from June 30, 1995 to June 30, 2004 and from June 30, 2007 to June 30, 2016. He has been the governor of the province since June 30, 2016.

On October 18, 2015, Hillarie Danielle Parungao represented Nueva Vizcaya at Miss World Philippines 2015 and competed against 25 other candidates at the Solaire Resort and Casino in Parañaque, Metro Manila, Philippines. She won the title.
