On March 12, 1995, Joanne Zapanta Santos represented Parañaque at Binibining Pilipinas 1995 and competed against 39 other candidates at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, Metro Manila. She ranked first and was crowned Bb. Pilipinas Universe 1995.

On March 24, 1996, Maria Sovietskaya Bacud and Jennylin Salazar represented Parañaque at Bb. Pilipinas 1996 and competed against 34 other candidates at the same venue. Salazar was unplaced while Bacud ranked fourth and was named the first runner-up.
