Set to spoil the ONE Championship debut of “Super” Sage Northcutt, 23, of Sacramento, California, United States at “ONE: Enter the Dragon” is Cosmo “Good Boy” Alexandre, 37, of Santos, Sao Paulo, Brazil. The two had their official face-off during a press conference in Singapore on May 14, 2019.

“To be honest, I don’t see a lot of weakness in (Alexandre),” Northcutt stated. “He’s a veteran, a tremendous striker, and very dangerous. I have a lot of respect for him. I’ve trained very hard for this fight and I’m going to train very hard for every single fight.”

ONE Championship held the “ONE: Enter the Dragon” press conference at the Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Center at the Bayfront Avenue in Singapore. The fight night will take place at the Singapore Indoor Stadium in Kallang, Singapore on May 17, 2019.

“I think ONE Championship is amazing and everyone is amazing in Asia,” Northcutt said. “ONE Championship is about respect and honor and the true martial arts. That’s how I grew up. I was raised in these values.”

Born in Katy, Texas, USA on March 1, 1996, Northcutt is training at Evolve MMA in Singapore. He is also representing Team Alpha Male, which trains at the Ultimate Fitness in Sacramento.

As a professional mixed martial arts fighter, Northcutt has been competing professionally since 2014. He competed in the Ultimate Fighting Championship from 2015 to 2018.

Currently, Northcutt holds a professional MMA record of 11 wins and 2 losses. On the other hand, Alexandre has 7 wins and 1 loss.

Alexandre has competed in ONE Championship twice but under ONE Super Series. “ONE: Enter the Dragon” marked his first time to compete in the promotion in an MMA bout.

Hosted by Mitch Chilson, the “ONE: Enter the Dragon” press conference was attended by ONE Championship chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong, ONE Championship vice president Miesha Tate and Bellator MMA fighter Jonathan “Johnny Boy” Nunez, 33, of Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
