Professionally known as Sting, Gordon Matthew Thomas Sumner, 67, was set to perform for his Filipino fans. The Cherrytree Music Company, Live Nation and Ovation Productions initially confirmed that “Sting: My Songs” would be presented at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines on October 2, 2019.

On July 13, 2019, however, Ovation Productions announced that the concert was canceled due to scheduling conflicts. The concert producer stated, “We apologize for any inconvenience caused by this development and know that Sting hopes to return to Manila soon to perform for his fans.”

Currently on tour throughout Europe, the “Sting: My Songs” concert is a rollicking, dynamic show featuring his most beloved songs written throughout the 18-time Grammy Award winner’s prolific career both with The Police and as a solo artist. Hailed a “masterful performance from start to finish,” the concert includes an electric, rock ensemble accompanying his hit songs “Englishman in New York,” “Fields of Gold,” “Shape of My Heart,” “Every Breath You Take,” “Roxanne” and “Message in a Bottle,” among others.
