Lucas “Mineiro” Martins, 30, of Sao Paulo, Brazil will be one half of the main event of Brave Combat Federation’s biggest show ever. He will will challenge reigning Brave CF Featherweight World Champion Bubba “Bad Man” Jenkins, 31, of California, United States at “Brave 24: London” on July 25, 2019 at the Copper Box Arena, inside the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, in London, England.

“Brave 24: London” was designed as an invite-only event for a VIP crowd full of world-class businessmen, influencers, politicians and celebrities, most of which will be in contact with MMA for the first time. Martins is aware that this is a pivotal moment for the sport and knows it is an opportunity to showcase the fastest growing sport in the world to an audience which can help mixed martial arts reach a new level.

“I think this initiative from Brave CF of putting on an invite-only event is really cool,” Martins stated. “This can only empower the events, the sport, and athletes. I’m really pleased to be a part of this and I’m sure that this event will end up opening a lot of doors for various athletes and making the sport bigger. I want to help make this happen by putting on a show there.”

Martins has already won and lost the Brave CF Lightweight World Championship title and is used to be involved in big fights but none was bigger than his challenge of Jenkins. The Brazilian challenger said, “For people to leave the building in love with MMA, our fight needs to be exciting.”

“I’m used to fighting in main events, I’ve done that for BRAVE CF at home in Brazil, and away from home too,” Martins continued. “I’m coming off a lot of five-round fights so I’ve been training a lot for that.”

“I think this is the biggest ever Brave CF event and I’m honored and grateful to have been chosen to lead this show with Bubba Jenkins,” Martins added. “I want to put on an amazing performance for our special audience.”

Through “Brave 24: London,” Brave CF will bring together VIPs from around the world under one roof to celebrate the sport of MMA in a luxurious event set to empower MMA and the sport as a whole. Meanwhile, here is a “Brave 24: London” clip featuring Brave CF president Mohammed Shahid:
