Alaverdi “Dagger” Ramazanov (Алаверди Рамазанов), 24, of Russia will face Ognjen Topic, 33, of Serbia and the United States at “ONE: Dreams of Gold.” ONE Championship will hold the combat sports event at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand on August 16, 2019.

Alaverdi Ramazanov

Ramazanov is a three-time International Federation of Muaythai Associations (IFMA) World Champion. He is representing the Venum Training Camp in Pattaya, Thailand.

Born in Kizlyar, Dagestan, Russia, Ramazanov grew up as a competitive swimmer. He switched to Muay Thai when he was 13 years old. 

In 2012, Ramazanov made his Muay Thai debut. In 2025, he moved to Thailand  to train at the Venum Training Camp under the tutelage of under Mehdi Zatout.

On November 29, 2018, Ramazanov turned 24. He is 5’11” tall.

Ognjen Topic

Topic is a Lion Fight Lightweight World Champion. He is training out of North Jersey Muay Thai in New Jersey, USA and P.K. Saenchai Muay Thai Gym in Bangkok.

Born in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Topic was 6 years old when he and his family moved to Serbia because of the Bosnian War. He was 9 when they moved to the U.S.

In 2011, Topic was named the Professional Rookie of the Year at the Muay Thai Authority Awards. In 2013, he became the Lion Fight World Champion.

On February 1, 2019, Topic turned 33. He is 5’8″ tall.

“ONE: Dreams of Gold”

“ONE: Dreams of Gold” will feature mixed martial arts, kickboxing and Muay Thai. One of the Muay Thai bouts is between Ramazanov and Topic.

In the main event, Ilias Ennahachi, 23, of the Netherlands will challenge reigning ONE Flyweight Kickboxing World Champion “The Baby Shark” Petchdam Petchyindee Academy, 21, of Thailand. Also on the card is a rematch between Giorgio “The Doctor” Petrosyan, 33, of Italy and “Smokin’” Jo Nattawut, 29, of Thailand for the ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Grand Prix semi-finals.
