Bangpleenoi Petchyindee Academy vs Yohann Fairtex Drai at ‘ONE: Dreams of Gold’ in Bangkok, Thailand

Bangpleenoi Petchyindee Academy, 25, of Thailand will face Yohann Fairtex Drai, 27, of France at “ONE: Dreams of Gold.” ONE Championship will hold the combat sports event at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand on August 16, 2019.

“ONE: Dreams of Gold” will feature mixed martial arts, kickboxing and Muay Thai. One of the Muay Thai bouts is between Bangpleenoi and Drai.

Bangpleenoi is a two-division WMC Muay Thai World Champion. Born in Samut Prakan, Thailand, he was 5 years old when he started his training in Muay Thai.

Currently training in Petchyindee Academy in Bangkok, Bangpleenoi uses a a classic Muay Femur style of Muay Thai. He holds professional record to 121 wins, 50 losses and 10 draws.

Drai is a Super Muay Thai Champion. He was 15 years old when he started his training in sambo. He switched to boxing when he was 19.

When Drai turned 22, he moved to Thailand. He is currently training out of Fairtex Gym in Pattaya, Thailand.

In the main event of “ONE: Dreams of Gold,” Ilias Ennahachi, 23, of the Netherlands will challenge reigning ONE Flyweight Kickboxing World Champion “The Baby Shark” Petchdam Petchyindee Academy, 21, of Thailand. Also on the card is the rematch between Giorgio “The Doctor” Petrosyan, 33, of Italy and “Smokin’” Jo Nattawut, 29, of Thailand for the ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Grand Prix semi finals.
