Fighting out of Harker Heights, Texas, United States, Geoff Neal, 28, was one of the winners at “UFC 240.” It was the Texan mixed martial artist’s fourth consecutive victory in the Ultimate Fighting Championship.
Featuring 11 professional MMA bouts, “UFC 240” took place at the Rogers Place in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada on July 27, 2019. “It’s good to get that experience against someone who’s going to try and take my head off at all times,” Neal said in his post-fight interview. “It was a good fight for me.”
“The game plan was to stay on the outside and pick him apart,” the Texan MMA fighter added. “I had to take some shots to get in.”
Winning at “UFC 240” improved the professional MMA record of Tsarukyan to 12 wins and 2 losses. On the other hand, Neal now has 13 wins and 3 losses.
Including the U.S., seven countries were represented at “UFC 240.” The others were Brazil, Canada, Japan, Poland, Russia and South Korea.
