Polish mixed martial artist Maciej “MagicMan” Gierzewski, 32, who is currently based in Belfast, Northern Ireland made his successful Brave Combat Federation debut at “Brave 24: London.” The victory made him a possible challenger for reigning Brave CF Lightweight World Champion Luan “Miau” Santiago, 24, of Brazil.

Featuring seven professional MMA bouts, “Brave 24: London” took place at the Copper Box Arena in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London, England on July 25, 2019. In the co-main event of the evening, Gierzewski knocked out Cian “The Warrior” Cowley, 25, of Ireland in the lightweight division.

“I know that I can take care of that whole division,” Gierzewski declared after his “Brave 24: London” victory. “I have what it takes to take over. I just need the chance.”

Santiago was crowned as the Brave CF Lightweight World Champion at “Brave 23: Pride and Honor” on April 19, 2019 at the Martyr Rashid Al-Ziyoud Hall Boxing Arena in Amman, Jordan. He dethroned former champion Abdul-Kareem “Pride of Palestine” Al-Selwady, 23, of Jordan.

Both Santiago and Gierzewski are knockout artists. The Brazilian champ has yet to defend his Brave CF Lightweight World Championship belt and the Polish fighter can be an interesting challenger for him.

“I tell everyone and everyone who knows me, they know I have dynamite in both hands,” Gierzewski shared. “It could have been the left one but this time I connected with a right hand and that was it. I was able to win again by knockout.”

Gierzewski was the sole representative of both Poland and Northern Ireland at “Brave 24: London.” His successful Brave CF debut improved his professional MMA record to 6 wins and 4 losses.

Before joining Brave CF, Gierszewski competed in Cage Warriors Fighting Championship, British Association of Mixed Martial Arts, Clan Wars, Szkoła Walki Drwala and Bellator MMA. He is now riding a two-bout winning streak.
