South Korean singer and songwriter Kim Hee Chul, 36, of Super Junior and Japanese singer and dancer Momo Hirai, 22, of TWICE, whose respective stage names are Heechul and Momo were reportedly dating. However, Label SJ recently denied the rumor.

Established by SM Entertainment in 2015, Label SJ is a label for Super Junior. In a statement obtained by All Kpop, the label said, “Super Junior’s Heechul and TWICE’s Momo are simply ordinary, close sunbae-hoobaes, and the dating rumors are false.”

In 2015, Momo appeared in the music video of “Sweet Dream” by Heechul and Min Kyung Hoon, 34, of Buzz. As a duo, Heechul and Min are known as Universe Cowards.

Heechul appeared in the episode of the Sky Drama show “Why are You at My House?” aired on August 4, 2019. In the show, the Super Junior member revealed that he is scared of opening curtains at home and he has never gone on an overseas trip with a girlfriend.

“When I buy a plane ticket, the fans know when I depart,” Heechul explained. “I received a lot of stress in the past so I changed the plane ticket overseas but they still knew everything. I’ve never used a personal email, and I’m scared of opening the curtains.”

Born in Wonju, Gangwon-do, South Korea on July 10, 1983, Heechul earned his bachelor’s degree in Informatics through Bachelor’s Degree Examination for Self-Education at Sangji University in Wonju. The city is home to Wonju City Museum, Mureung Museum, Yonsei University Wonju Museum, Hanji museum, Chiak Folk Museum and Myeongjusa Chiaksan and Engraving Museum.

On the other hand, Momo was born in Kyōtanabe, Kyoto, Japan on November 9, 1996. The city is home to Shuonan Ikkyuji Temple, Omido Kannonji Temple, Daitokuji Temple, Juho-ji Temple and Kannabi-dera Temple.
