The first ever ONE Championship event to be held in Vietnam is titled “ONE: Immortal Triumph.” It will be headlined by reigning ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Champion Nong-O Gaiyanghadao, 32, of Thailand and his challenger Brice Delval, 20, of France.
Featuring ONE Super Series kickboxing and Muay Thai bouts, “ONE: Immortal Triumph” will take place at the Phu Tho Indoor Stadium in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam on September 6, 2019. The greatest strikers from all corners of the globe are set to meet for an action-packed evening.
Nong-O Gaiyanghadao
Considered one of the greatest strikers of all time, Nong-O has captured nearly every accolade in Muay Thai. He made his first appearance at the famed Rajadamnern Stadium when he was just a teenager and won, setting off an incredible run of success.
Nong-O has competed in over 300 professional bouts. He claimed two Thailand National Muay Thai Championships, four Lumpinee Stadium Muay Thai World Championships in different divisions and a Rajadamnern Stadium Muay Thai World Championship.
Since joining the world’s best strikers in ONE Super Series, Nong-O has dominated the competition. On February 16, 2019, he captured the inaugural ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Title with a unanimous decision victory over Han Zi Hao, 23, of China.
Training out of Evolve MMA in Singapore, Nong-O defended his ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Championship belt from Hiroaki “Kaibutsukun” Suzuki, 34, of Japan for the first time at “ONE: Warriors of Light” at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand. The Thai defending champion won via unanimous decision.
Brice Delval
Delval is a natural talent who trains at the famed Mahmoudi Gym in France. He grew up on the French island of Réunion, where he discovered his passion for martial arts that ultimately led him to the sport of Muay Thai.
One of the fastest rising stars today, Delval now joins ONE Super Series. “ONE: Immortal Triumph” marks the French martial artist’s promotional debut.
