“Brave 25” has developed into the ground of one of Brazil’s most fierce rivalries in recent years. Reigning Brave Combat Federation Lightweight World Champion Luan “Miau” Santiago, 24, of Curitiba, Parana, Brazil and his challenger Cleiton “Predator” Silva, 33, of Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil needed to be separated when they finally met eye to eye during the ceremonial weigh-ins on August 29, 2019 in Belo Horizonte.

Born and raised in Belo Horizonte, Silva had an enthusiastic support with fans even using his famed mask to intimidate the champion. Fresh from dethroning  former Brave CF Lightweight Champion Abdul-Kareem “Pride of Palestine” Al-Selwady, 23, of Jordan, Santiago seemed unfazed by the taunts directed at him by the loyal supporters.

Santiago and Silva had to be separated by Brave CF officials. The two kept talking to each other for a long period of time.

The co-main event is between Felipe Efrain, 25, of Sao Paulo, Brazil and newcomer Matheus Nicolau, 26, of Belo Horizonte. They gave the audience another heated staredown for the explosive event set to shake Brazilian MMA to its core.

Taking place at the Arena Minas Tênis Clube in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil, “Brave 25” will be the fourth time Brave CF travels to Brazil after two visits to Curitiba and one prior event organized in Belo Horizonte all in the last three years.
