Representing Thailand, model Wachiraputts Supathanasiree was crowned Man of the Universe 2019 on September 6, 2019 at the Teatro Casino of Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino in Cebu City.in Cebu City, Philippines. He bested 12 other candidates.
Man of the Universe 2019 was presented by Star Realms Entertainment Production, headed its president Gilbs Espiritu. It was the first edition of the international male beauty pageant.
Runner-up to Supathanasiree was law student Sagar Bhageloe, 29, of Netherlands. Fashion model Adel Serhal, 21, of Ukraine was second runner-up.
The partner sponsors of Man of the Universe 2019 were Prodigy Bureau, Prettyfine Skin Care, Frank Francis Otong, GMO Collections by Griffins Malazarte, WEP Team, Fitness Nation, Noel Iniz, Ordy, Atarah Island Hopping and Tours and 101 FM. The major sponsors were Reddoorz at Century Plaza Hotel, Marick Beach Resort, Montebello Villa Resort, Above Aesthetics, Hasty Feet Travel Nation, Cabalen and Sam Ibanez Olga for the official swimwear.
Eight sponsor awards were given. Supathanasiree was named GMO Collection Ambassador by Griffins and Pretty Fine Ambassador while Bhageloe was Hasty Feet Nation Ambassador and Serhal was RedDoorz Philippines Ambassador.
Professional dancer Prince Oomesh Luvkush, 29, Mauritius was Star Realms Ambassador. The other sponsor awardees were Man of Cabalen Juan Carlos Cabrera, 32, a chef from Peru, Above Aesthetic Ambassador Adonis Jocsing, 22, a sports and occupational therapist from Canada and Marick Beach Resort Ambassador Anthony Eatabillo Abuan, 20, an entrepreneur from the Philippines.
Abuan also won three special awards namely Mr. Photogenic, Best in National Costume and Best in Swimwear. Supathanasiree was Best in Formal Wear and Media’s Choice.
