
Training out of K Dojo Warrior Tribe in Fairfield, New Jersey, United States, Rustam “Russian Bear” Chsiev, 34, of Ossetia, Russia was one of the winners at “Brave 27.” It was his first victory in the Bahrain-based mixed martial arts promotion Brave Combat Federation.
Brave CF held “Brave 27” at the Mubadala Arena in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates with 10 MMA bouts. In the seventh bout of the evening, Chsiev fought Tarek Suleiman, 30, Syria, who is training out of Tiger Muay Thai in Phuket, Thailand.
With Tomasz Bronder as the referee, Chsiev and Suleiman competed in the middleweight division. After three five-minute rounds, the contest was left in the hands of the three judges, who all scored it 30-27.
In the end, Bronder raised the hand of Chsiev. The Russian contender was declared the winner via unanimous decision.
Winning at “Brave 27” improved the professional MMA record of Chsiev to 3 wins and 2 losses. On the other hand, Suleiman now has 8 wins, 6 losses, 0 draw and 1 loss.
In the main event of the evening, Jarrah “The Jordanian Lion” Al-Selawe, 26, of Amman, Jordan regained the Brave Combat Federation Welterweight World Championship title. He dethroned Abdoul “The Conqueror” Abdouraguimov, 23, of Nantes, France.
In the co-main event, Alex Martinez, 25, of Paraguay and Canada maintained his undefeated professional MMA record. He knocked out Anas “The Moroccan Sensation” Siraj Mounir, 33, Morocco in the lightweight division.
