Team Lakay’s very own Eduard “Landslide” Folayang, 34, of the Philippines recently gave his honest assessment of the fighting skills of his “ONE: Masters of Fate” opponent Amarsanaa “Spear” Tsogookhuu, 28, of Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. The Igorot mixed martial artist is confident but is not underestimating his opponent who is representing Team Amaraa.

On February 16, 2019, Tsogookhuu made his ONE Championship debut at “ONE: Clash of Legends” at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand. He defeated Shannon “OneShin” Wiratchai, 30, of Thailand via unanimous decision.

“Amarsanaa Tsogookhuu was able to showcase his skills with Shannon in his debut match,” Folayang said. “He is really good on his feet and his striking can knock me out if it connects.

“However, he has problems when he is put under pressure,” Folayang There are some things that we saw which we can use to my advantage, I will leave it at that.”

Competing professionally since 2007, Folayang has more experience than Tsogookhuu, who made his professional MMA debut in 2016. The Filipino MMA veteran was able to cover every angle, having crafted his fight strategy with his colleagues at Team Lakay, and is now fully prepared to claim victory.

Folayang is drawing strength and motivation from the people who matter most to him. His determination to dominate his opponent grows stronger every time he thinks about his supporters and his hunger to win.

“In my head, this match will be in my favor in every aspect,” Folayang said. “That does not mean I am underestimating Amarsanaa. I simply believe that the results of my preparations will allow me to dominate him.”

ONE Championship will hold “ONE: Masters of Fate” at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines on November 8, 2019. A lightweight bout between Folayang and Tsogookhuu is the co-main event.

“I have my team, my friends, my fans and the rest of the Philippines cheering and depending on me,” Folayang declared. “I will not let them down.”

Two more Team Lakay warriors are also on the “ONE: Masters of Fate” card namely former ONE Flyweight World Champion Geje “Gravity” Eustaquio, 30, and reigning ONE Strawweight World Champion ONE Strawweight World Champion Joshua “The Passion” Pacio, 23.
