Born in Hefei, Anhui, China, “Metal Storm” Wang Wenfeng, 26, of China was one of the ONE Championship athletes who participated in the official “ONE: Age of Dragons” open workout in Beijing, China on November 13, 2019. He is set to challenge reigning ONE Flyweight Kickboxing World Champion Ilias Ennahachi, 23, of the Netherlands and Morocco.

“Ilias Ennahachi is a tough warrior,” Wang said of his “ONE: Age of Dragons” opponent. “He’s a worthy champion but now, it’s my time and I’m coming to take the belt.”

Featuring six MMA bouts, four kickboxing contests and one Muay Thai match, ONE Championship will hold “ONE: Age of Dragons” at the Cadillac Arena in Beijing on November 16, 2019. In the ninth bout of the evening, Yodsanklai and Yusupov will compete in a Muay Thai bout at a catch weight of 73kg.

“First of all, I would like to thank ONE Championship for the opportunity,” Wang said. “Challenging for the ONE Flyweight Kickboxing World Championship is such a huge honor and I will seize it.”

“I also want to thank all the Chinese fans for the support,” the Chinese kickboxer added. “I look forward to putting on a show this Saturday night.”

Wang was born on June 20, 1993. He has been competing professionally since 2014 and he now holds a professional kickboxing record of 28 wins, 5 losses and 1 draw.

A KLF Kickboxing World Champion, Wang is training out of Xingbo Shengshi Fight Club. He will make his debut in ONE Championship’s striking-only league ONE Super Series at “ONE: Age of Dragons.”

On the other hand, “ONE: Age of Dragons” marks Ennahachi’s third ONE Super Series bout and his first title defense as the reigning ONE Flyweight Kickboxing World Champion. He currently has 30 wins and 3 losses.

“All preparations for this fight have gone according to plan,” the Dutch-Moroccan kickboxer added. “Now the only thing left is to execute.”
