Lulyana Thalía Olvino Torres, 20, represented Venezuela in the 68th edition of Miss Universe. She is a synchronized swimmer and a model.

Olvino is 5’10” tall. She speaks English and Spanish.

Born in Valencia, Carabobo, Venezuela, Olvino previously lived in Delta Amacuro, Venezuela. In 2016, she graduated from Unidad Educativa Colegio Betania in Valencia and entered the Universidad Tecnológica del Centro in Valencia.

On June 21, 2018, Olvino competed against 19 other Miss Earth Carabobo 2018 candidates at Hesperia WTC Valencia in Valencia. She was runner-up to Katherine Rodriguez and was crowned Miss Earth Carabobo-Air 2018.

On November 9, 2018, Olvino competed against 13 other Reinado del Festival de Nuestra Señora del Socorro 2018 candidates at the municipal theater of Valencia. She won the title.

    On August 1, 2019, Olvino represented Delta Amacuro at Miss Venezuela 2019 and competed against 23 other other candidates at the Estudio 1 de Venevisión in Caracas, Venezuela. She won the title.

    Miss Universe 2019

    On December 8, 2019, Olvino represented Venezuela at Miss Universe 2019 and competed against 89 other candidates at the Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. She finished in the Top 20.

    It was Zozibini Tunzi of South Africa who won the title. Madison Anderson of Puerto Rico and Sofia Aragon of Mexico were the respective first and second runners-up.

    Gabriela Tafur of Colombia and Paweensuda Drouin of Thailand finished in the Top 5. Maeva Coucke of France, Birta Abiba Porhallsdottir of Iceland, Frederika Alexis Cull of Indonesia, Kelin Rivera of Peru and Cheslie Kryst of the U.S. finished in the Top 10.

    Gazini Ganados of the Philippines won the Best National Costume award while Olga Bulawa of Poland was named Miss Congeniality. This marked the first time Bangladesh and Equatorial Guinea were represented in Miss Universe.

    Steve Harvey, Olivia Culpo and Vanessa Lachey hosted the coronation ceremony, which was broadcast by Fox and Telemundo. The show featured a performance by Ally Brooke.
